A. A. Milne

Alan Alexander Milne was a British author and poet, best known for his creation of the classic children’s book character– Winnie The Pooh. He served in both the World Wars, and had written many plays and poems before the success of Winnie the Pooh. In 2003, Winnie the Pooh was ranked 7 in the BBC poll of the “best-loved novels” of all time, and in 2006 it received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as was voted onto the list of icons of England.
