Diana, Princess of Wales

Diana, Princess of Wales, was the former wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, heir to the royal throne and is the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry of the British royal family. She attained world-wide fame from the moment she was engaged to Prince Charles, and in spite of their divorce, she continued to be one of the most loved figures of the royal family. Known for her glamorous good looks and her philanthropic work, she was hailed as “The People’s Princess”, and her untimely death at the young age of 36 due to a car crash in Paris, led to an unprecedented and widespread public mourning.
